12 stamps (1- through 200-haleru, 1918-1919) depict Hradcany castle with Sun rising or setting in the background, but from this angle of the castle, the Sun would never be in this position. Later issues (1919-20) omit the circle of the Sun.

1945 August 29

Czechoslovakia

1.50-koruna stamp depicts flags of Russia, Great Britain, USA, and Czechoslovakia, But the diagonal stripe on the British flag should be half that thickess, and in only the lower half of the white diagonal. The US flag should not have the rows of stars alternating in indent, but be a rectangular grid of six rows of eight stars.

1957 April 30

Czechoslovakia

60-haleru stamp depicts a bow and arrow, with no string being pulled back on the bow.

1959 June 22

Czechoslovakia

40-haleru stamp depicts Aurel Stodola (1859-1942), but with transposed last two digits making year "1924".

Catalog numbers: Scott 923

Approximate value: US$0.20.
